Group gear into folders for a production or a case, then check items out and type who took them, such as a crew member or a truck. Check them back in and the quantities return. Every check-out records who did it and when.
Track a rental with a date field of your own
metItem has no built-in rental record. You can add a return date as a date field you define yourself: the free plan includes one field for the whole account, and the Essential plan raises it to five. Emailed reminders before that date are on the Ultra plan and above.
Photos and a field you choose
Every item holds a name, a code, a quantity, a price and one photo on the free plan, plus one field you define yourself, such as a serial. The Essential plan raises that to five fields and five photos. Download any inventory's items as a CSV.
Scan a barcode with your phone
Scanning uses the phone camera and is free on every plan, so adding a case or an item does not mean typing its code. Printed QR labels start on the Essential plan, and printed barcode labels on Ultra.
