Is metItem really free?

Yes — the Free plan includes 100 items, one inventory, and one full-access teammate, with no credit card required. See pricing for the paid tiers.

Can I use metItem on my phone?

Yes. metItem is available on iOS and Android, and the mobile app syncs with metitem.com in real time. Use the phone in the field, see the same numbers on the web in the office.

Can I invite my team?

Yes. The Free plan includes one full-access teammate plus read-only viewer seats. Paid plans add more full seats, custom roles, and SSO on higher tiers.

Can I import items from a spreadsheet?

Yes. The Items tab has a Bulk Import that takes a CSV with your item names, codes, quantities, prices, and units. You can preview before committing.

Can I export my data?

Always. You can export your inventory as a CSV at any time, on any plan. It's your data.

How are item codes handled?

Item codes are unique within each inventory. If you try to use a code that's already taken, metItem will offer to open the existing item or let you pick a different code.

Can I print barcode / QR labels?

Yes. You can print QR labels for one or many items at a time so anyone can scan to look up an item on the spot.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel anytime from the Billing page in your account settings. Your subscription stays active until the end of your current billing period, and you keep access to your data on the Free plan after that.

Where is my data stored?

Your data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the United States, with images on Amazon S3 and the database on Amazon RDS. We never sell your data.
